VideoPIL offers a product verification service for some pharmaceutical products available in Ireland. Not all companies have registered for this service yet, so if the manufacturer of your medicine is not listed, you may not be able to use this facility.

For products listed, we can compare the production number and expiry date with our records, provided directly from the manufacturing company and updated monthly.

Matching the production or batch code, with the expiry date and verifying the medicine visually provides a good level of security against the growing threat of counterfeit medicines.
